Miellerie King Distillerie Overview
The artisans at Miellerie King are committed to offering you quality products that are carefully crafted, made with love from their pure unpasteurized honeys, and bursting with flavor. La Miellerie King is one of the few distilleries that produces its own alcohol from A to Z, from the bee to the bottle. The alcohol is made from honey from their own beehives and most of the aromatics are picked locally whenever possible.
In addition to their many spirits, Miellerie King produces exceptional mistelles and liqueurs, as well as many types of meads. Several food products such as pure honey and artisanal sauces are also available.

The Distillery Experience
There are a couple of tour and tasting options available during the season from mid-May until the end of September.
Basic Tour and Tasting
This 30-minute tour includes tasting 3 spirits and includes a souvenir glass with the Miellerie King logo. Tours start every hour.
Gourmet Experience
This experience includes a wicker picnic basket* filled with a delicious assortment of products for you to take home, or consume at one of their partners in Kingsey Falls.

Miellerie King Distillerie Spirits
From bee to bottle, Miellerie King produces all their own spirits, in-house, from pure honey harvested from their own bee hives. They are one of only a few artisan distillers in Quebec, one of only a handful that produces their own spirits from honey, and they take great pride in the care they put into looking after their bees, and producing unique, fine quality craft spirits that showcase the flora of the region.
The process begins with looking after their bees and ensuring a healthy colony. The honey is harvested, and then fermented to make mead. Their master distiller then distills the mead, in their still, into the spirit that is used as the base for all their products.

A delicious cream liqueur made with honey caramel, brandy, and cream from local dairy producers.

A delicate, unique gin made from honey spirits. This unique gin has notes of juniper, coriander, black spruce and bellyberry.

Of the Cantons - Cold Brew Coffee Honey Liqueur
This cold brew coffee honey liqueur is the first in their new Artisan Series of products. It's a smooth liqueur with aromas of chocolate, spices, red fruits and vanilla, blended with their honey spirit.

Colony Amber Apirum
This apirum (rum distilled from honey instead of sugarcane juice) is aged 12 months in oak barrels that previously contained bourbon resulting in a rich, subtly spicy spirit with a unique character.

Colony Spicy Amber Apirum
This apirum is aged for 12 months in oak barrels that previously contained bourbon, and Miellerie King's own Bastringue Premium honey mistelle, resulting a round, rich, and unique flavour.

Ruchette Honey Brandy
This award-winning honey brandy is the first honey brandy to be crafted in Quebec. Winner of Best Brandy at the 2023 Canadian Artisan Spirit Competition, this unique spirit captures the essence of the hive with woody and light waxy notes, and a delicate bouquet of Miellerie King's honey.

Ouvrière Honey Gin
Floral notes reminiscent of spring are the hallmark of this gin crafted from Miellerie King honey. Notes of local spring flowers and herbs perfectly complement the classic juniper berries, amber flowers, angelica roots and pine spikenard.

Operculum Autumn Honey Brandy
A sweet brandy made with pure honey. The unique bottling includes a queen cell that contained a queen bee before it's birth, reminiscent of the worm in a mezcal bottle.
